Kyle Cornish begins his second season as assistant director of media relations at Baylor, serving as the primary contact for softball and soccer, as well as producing the football gameday program.

Prior to his arrival at Baylor, Cornish worked at Auburn University as a media relations assistant where he served as the primary contact for women's volleyball, women's gymnastics, cross country and women's tennis, as well as the assistant contact for men's basketball.

Cornish is a 2006 graduate of The University of Kansas where he served as a student assistant in the media relations office for five years. During his time at Kansas, Cornish was the primary contact for women's tennis from 2002-04 and men's and women's golf from 2004-06. He was also the assistant contact for soccer from 2001-05 as well as softball from 2005-06.

A native of Topeka, Kan., Cornish graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology.
