Internship Process
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
College Senior or College Graduate
2.5 GPA
At least 160 hours of confirmed volunteer work at a fitness/ strength facility with a recognized strength and conditioning professional.
Current student member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa)
OR a Level One Club Coach certification through the United States of America Weightlifting (USAW)
CPR/ First Aid Certification (send a photocopy of your certification)
Majoring in Exercise Science, Fitness, Health and Human Performance, Biomechanics, or a related course of study.

Transcript
3 letters of reference
INTERN Experience
1 semester (minimum 35-hours/ week for 16-weeks).
INTERN hours will include mandatory hours during various times of day in order to expose the observer to all facets of strength coaching.
Internship Academic Curriculum (16-weeks)
One section of the Internship Manual will be completed every week.
The performance on the curriculum is either satisfactory or unsatisfactory.

ATTENDANCE POLICY
Late twice without notice - Dismissal from program.
Absent once without notice - Dismissal from program.
