Lady Bears to Play in Paradise Jam Tournament

The Baylor women's basketball team will be one of eight Division I women's basketball teams competing in the Ninth Annual U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam Tournament at the University of the Virgin Islands. Along with Baylor, California, Central Florida, Iowa, South Florida, Texas Tech, Villanova and Wisconsin will all be competing in the two divisions. The Paradise Jam consists of two separate tournaments - the Island Division and the Reef Division. Each is a four-team, three-game round robin. The Lady Bears will play in the Island Division and face Central Florida on Thurs., Nov. 27, at 2:30 p.m. CST; Villanova on Fri., Nov. 28, at 2:30 p.m. CST and Wisconsin on Sat., Nov. 29, at 2:30 p.m. CST. Fans are encouraged to attend the tournament and cheer on the Lady Bears.
