WACO, Texas (AP) - Curtis Jerrells scored a career-high 28 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Baylor to a 90-64 win over Missouri on Tuesday night.
Kevin Rogers added 13 points for the Bears, while Tommy Swanson scored 10.
The win was the second straight at home for Baylor (2-7, 2-7 Big 12) while the loss was the sixth straight for the Tigers (10-11, 3-7).
Baylor took command with four minutes left in the first half, closing out with a 17-4 run to go in front 43-21. Five 3-pointers fueled the run. Jerrells, who scored 11 first-half points, and Aaron Bruce each had a pair. Bruce's four-point play with eight seconds remaining capped the scoring.
Baylor continued to dominate in the second half and led the Tigers by as much as 32 points at 82-50 on Mamadou Diene's putback with just over five minutes left.
Thomas Gardner led Missouri with 25 points, while Jimmy McKinney contributed 13.
The Bears shot 68 percent in the second half, going 19-of-28 from field, and held the Tigers to 7-of-17 performance for 41 percent.
