COLUMBIA, Mo. - Baylor shot 52 percent from the field in the second half but couldn't overcome a 13-point halftime deficit and lost 69-59 to Missouri at the Hearnes Center.
The Bears outscored the Tigers 34-31 in the second half, but their comeback bid failed as they shot just 11 percent on 3-pointers (2-for-18) for the night.
Missouri hit eight first-half 3-pointers, four from Brian Grawer, to take a 38-25 halftime lead.
Baylor cut the lead to seven with 14 minutes remaining following 3-pointers by Matt Sayman and Greg Davis. Missouri responded with a 14-4 run over the following four minutes to push the lead to 59-43.
Mizzou killed the Bears from long range, hitting 11-of-28 3-pointers on the night, inlcuding six from Grawer who led the Tigers with 18 points.
DeMarcus Minor had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists. Terry Black finished with 12 points, six rebounds and four steals. Davis added 11 points for the Bears.
