FROM WALK-ON TO HALL OF FAME
Like a traveling door-to-door salesman, Derek Turner took his football highlight reel from tiny Deer Creek High School in Edmond, Okla., hit the road and went to school after school, just "trying to figure out who would take me."

Cyril Richardson played an integral role in one of the most memorable nights in the history of the Baylor football program, one of eight people who got to turn out a bank of lights following the Bears' 30-10 win over Texas that clinched a Big 12 championship and "Closed the Case" on Dec. 7, 2013.

Taylor Ormond can laugh about it now, but it's funny how her path to the Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame actually started nearly 20 years ago with pancakes.

Chris Durbin remains the all-time career leader in doubles (79) and extra-base hits (130), second in runs (236) and total bases (529) and top 10 in home runs (41), RBIs (169) and slugging percentage (.594).

Bryce Petty led the Bears to back-to-back Big 12 championships.
