BEARS FARING BETTER AGAINST THE BIG 12 NORTH
• Since the 2000-01 season, Baylor has had much more success against the Big 12 North schools than those in the South. Baylor is 26-36 over the last 11 seasons vs. Big 12 North schools in the regular season, while posting just a 30-73 against the South.
• Baylor is 16-28 in 44 regular-season games against the Big 12 €ˆNorth and 24-49 against the Big 12 South in the Scott Drew era. In the seven previous Big 12 seasons prior to Drew's arrival, the Bears were 15-27 against the North.

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE KANSAS
• Between Allen Fieldhouse and Bramlage Coliseum, senior G €ˆLaceDarius Dunn has been very successful in his previous three trips to the Sunflower State. Dunn is averaging 27.7 points and 6.3 3FG made in three games in Kansas -- 23 points (5-10 3FG) at Kansas in 2008, 33 at Kansas State (9-12 3FG) in 2009 and 27 (5-8 3FG) at Kansas in 2010.
• In Dunn's only other trip to Bramlage €ˆColiseum, he scored a game-high 33 points and connected on a then-school-record-tying nine 3-pointers in Baylor's 83-65 win.

SUCCESS AGAINST THE SUNFLOWER STATE
LaceDarius Dunn is averaging 20.4 points in nine career games against Kansas and Kansas State. Dunn has scored 20+ points in five of his nine games against the Big 12's Kansas schools -- three vs. Kansas and two vs. Kansas State.
• Dunn is a career 50.7-percent 3-point shooter (34-of-67) against the Kansas schools, including a 48.4 percent mark (15-of-31) in four career games vs. Kansas State.

KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES
• Two-thirds of Baylor's starting front court is named Jones and neither is related. Freshman F Perry Jones III and junior F €ˆAnthony Jones have both improved their scoring production in 2011. In Baylor's first seven games of 2011, the Joneses have combined to average 27.1 points and 9.9 rebounds. Since the start of 2011, Jones III ranks second on the team in scoring (15.6), while A. Jones is fourth with 10.6 points-per-game.
• The Joneses are shooting 65.7 percent from the floor (67-of-102), 69.2 percent from 3-point range (9-of-13) and 78.3 percent at the FT €ˆline (47-of-60) in the first seven games to start 2011. By comparison, the Joneses averaged 20.2 points and 14.2 rebounds, but shot 49.4 percent from the floor (88-of-178), 17.6 percent from 3-point range (6-of-34) and 65.6 percent at the FT €ˆline (40-of-61) in Baylor's 11 games of 2010.

PJ3'S BIG 12 TURNAROUND
• Since starting his career averaging 11.8 points and 7.5 rebounds in his first 13 games, freshman F Perry Jones III is averaging 19.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in five Big 12 contests. Jones III is shooting a league-leading 70.6 percent (36-of-51) from the floor and 79.4 percent (27-of-34) at the FT €ˆline in Big 12 play.
• Jones III opened Big 12 play with back-to-back 20-point games -- a then-career-high-tying 20 points at Texas Tech (Jan. 8), followed by a career-high 25 points vs. Oklahoma (Jan. 11). PJ3 became the first Baylor freshman to post back-to-back 20-point games since LaceDarius Dunn did it twice during the 2007-08 season.
• PJ3 has four 20-point games in Baylor's first five Big 12 contests. Jones III leads all Big 12 freshmen in both scoring (14.1) and FG €ˆpercentage (57.5). He ranks 11th overall in scoring, ninth in rebounding (9.0) and third in FG €ˆpercentage, while ranking third in Big 12-only scoring (19.8).
