• Jackson, who is averaging 11.3 assists and 2.8 steals in the last four games, dished out a career-high 15 assists in Baylor's 89-88 loss Jan. 21 to No. 5 Missouri. His 15 assists tied the Big 12 record for assists in a conference game and tied for the fourth-most ever by a Big 12 player in any game; Jackson's 15 assists were the sixth-most in a single game in program history and the most since Nelson Haggerty had 18 at TCU on Feb. 14, 1995.

• Freshman F Quincy Miller is majoring in pre-med and wants to be an anesthesiologist once his basketball career is complete. The charismatic and energetic freshman has also been a mature piece to Baylor's on-court success, too.
• Miller has started 17 games and is one of five players averaging 10+ points per game. Miller's 12.9 points-per-game average is tops among Big 12 freshmen, while ranking second on Baylor's team behind only Perry Jones III (13.7).
