• Baylor makes a rare Thursday road trip to face West Virginia in Morgantown. WVU is the Bears' third ranked opponent in the last four games. Baylor is 54-181-6 all-time against ranked opponents.
• The Bears have allowed only eight touchdowns in the red zone, tops in Big 12 and eighth-best nationally.
• Baylor has out-gained its opponents offensively in five of seven games in 2018 and is averaging 475.0 ypg.

WEST VIRGINIA SERIES HISTORY
• Baylor and WVU have met six times since the Mountaineers joined the Big 12 for the 2012 season. West Virginia leads the all-time series 4-2, including a 2-0 mark in Morgantown.
• The home team had won all five games in the series until Baylor dropped a 38-36 game at McLane Stadium in 2017. WVU has won the last two meetings by a combined five points.
• After falling 38-13 at the end of the third quarter in 2017, Baylor stormed back with 23 points in the fourth behind freshman quarterback
Charlie Brewer. Brewer led the team to a touchdown with 17 seconds left, but couldn't convert the two-point try and the Bears fell 38-36.

PLENTY OF BAYLOR DEBUTS IN '18
• After ranking among the top teams in the country to feature freshmen in 2017, Baylor has continued to introduce new players into its lineups in 2018.
• Through seven games, Baylor has had 28 players make their first appearances in a Bears' uniform. That total includes 10 true freshmen (

• The Bears have had 10 redshirt freshmen, one sophomore, two juniors, two seniors and three graduate transfers appear in a Baylor uniform for the first time. There have been 14 first time starters (four true freshmen).
REDZONE SUCCESS RATE
• Baylor has been impressive when venturing inside the opponent's 20-yard line in 2018, after struggling to score touchdowns in the red zone last season with only 18 touchdowns in 31 trips (45%). That percentage ranked 124th in FBS and last in the Big 12.
• The Bears are third in the Big 12 with a red zone touchdown percentage mark of 66.67% with 18 touchdowns on 27 red zone trips. The Bears have also kicked seven field goals for a near perfect 92.6% scoring tally that ranks 16th in FBS.
• On the flip side, the Baylor defense has allowed the fewest red zone touchdowns (8) in the Big 12 and ranks third in opponent red zone conversion percentage (50%; 8-of-16). Eight TDs allowed ranks 8th nationally.
BREWER EXCELLENT AS STARTER
• Sophomore quarterback
Charlie Brewer has started Baylor's last 11 games and posted a 5-6 mark in those contests. With Brewer under center, Baylor is averaging 459.7 ypg of total offense over the last 11 games.
• Brewer has passed for 275.4 yards per game with 19 touchdowns and six interceptions. He has completed 65.42 percent of his passes (263-of-402). He also has four rushing touchdowns.

Brewer has completed 66.67 percent of his passes (218-of-327) in eight career Big 12 starts.
• The Austin native have eclipsed 300 yards passing in five of those starts, becoming the fifth player in program history with five games of 300 or more yards passing. He is joined by Bryce Petty, Robert Griffin III,
