• Down 2-0 in the match, No. 24 Baylor volleyball pulled out a five-set victory over West Virginia Saturday, Oct. 13 at WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, 22-25, 13-25, 25-22, 25-20, 17-15.
• In the win, redshirt junior
Shelly Fanning set a career-high 20 kills on 27 attempts while posting the best five-set match attack percentage in program history, hitting .741 against the Mountaineers.
• After sitting out the last two matches, sophomore
Yossiana Pressley returned and became the 12th player in program history to record a 20-20 match with 21 kills and a career-high 20 digs.

Tara Wulf tied a career-high three service aces against the Mountaineers.
• Baylor won its second-ever match under McGuyre after trailing 2-0, improving to 2-20.

• Baylor volleyball dominated the serving game as the Bears recorded a season-high nine aces in a sweep of West Virginia Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Ferrell Center, 25-20, 25-18, 25-12.
• Redshirt sophomore
Shelly Fanning's six kills pushed her past 500 career kills in the match, capturing the 500-mark in the second set. She led at the net with seven blocks and allowed Baylor to outblock the Mountaineers, 9.0-8.0.

Yossiana Pressley led all players with nine kills each, each of them hitting above .250 in the sweep. Senior
Jana Brusek led all players with 14 digs in the back row, and freshman
Hannah Lockin recorded 32 assists in the match.
• The Bears held West Virginia to a -.011 hitting effort in three sets. It was BU's seven opponent hitting under .100 against the Bears this season.
LOOKING FORWARD TO THE POSTSEASON
• With an 18-8 record in 2018, Baylor looks to make its third consecutive postseason appearance for the first time in program history.
• An NCAA bid would be the seventh overall for the Bears and third in the past four years under head coach
