WACO, Texas – No. 2 Baylor men's tennis heads to Fort Worth for an afternoon contest at No. 6 TCU this Sunday at 3 p.m. CT at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

The Bears (26-4, 3-1) are looking to clinch a share of the Big 12 regular-season title for the first time since 2015. A win would force a tie with the Horned Frogs (15-5, 4-0) atop the conference standings. Depending on results, No. 7 Texas (18-4, 3-1) could also earn a share of the title.

A win would mark Baylor's 14th regular-season Big 12 trophy in program history and first since 2015. Baylor won three-straight titles from 2013-15, but have only finished second or better in the league once since then.

BU will attempt to rebound following its first conference loss at the hands of the Longhorns on Thursday evening, a loss which snapped the Bears' 10-match winning streak, and avenge its earlier loss to TCU which came on January 31 in Waco. The Horned Frogs topped the Bears 4-1 at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center, coming from behind after BU won the doubles point to clinch the match with four singles victories.

TCU leads the all-time series with Baylor 35-26, including a 4-2 mark in the last six meetings.

Currently, Baylor boasts a 131-26 combined record in singles play this spring, as well as a 60-21 mark in doubles dual matches. The Bears are 23-7 in the doubles point this year and own a 22-1 record in matches when winning the opening tally.
