PHOENIX, Ariz. – No. 14 Baylor women's golf will continue to ramp up for the postseason with its final two events in the Phoenix area, beginning with the PING/ASU Intercollegiate on Friday.

The event will be played at Papago Golf Club, just 22 miles from Grayhawk Golf Club, the site of the NCAA Championships in May. Head coach Jay Goble has made a habit of getting his team to the desert as much as possible to prepare them to compete in that environment in late May.

"The team is very excited to head back to Phoenix this weekend," Goble said. "Playing in Tempe at Papago is always challenging and there are great teams to compete against this week that will undoubtedly prepare us for what we hope to see at Grayhawk in a couple of months."

February's Big 12 Golfer of the Month, Rosie Belsham will play out of the No. 1 spot for a third time this spring. Belsham has three-straight top-five finishes to her credit.

Sera Hasegawa will play at No. 2 this week, getting her first taste of desert golf this season after missing the Match in the Desert in January with an injury.

Silje Ohma will play at No. 3 this week. The freshman has three top-five finishes this spring, including a tie for fourth at the Match in the Desert, where she shot a 67 at Superstition Mountain Golf Club to finish tied for fourth.

Hannah Karg will make her sixth start this spring and play out of the No. 4 spot. The senior is coming off a tie for 14th as an individual at the Trinity Forest Invitational.

Britta Snyder makes her return to the lineup and will play at No. 5. She also finished tied for 14th at Trinity Forest and shot a 5-under 67 at the Match in the Desert in January.
