Madelon Allen

Allen joined the Baylor Athletics Communications department in August of 2021, serving as an Associate Director.

She is the sports information director for the Women's Volleyball, Acrobatics & Tumbling and Equestrian teams. She also serves as a contact regarding BaylorBears.com, and is a secondary contact for both Basketball programs.

In her first year with the Bears, she was also the SID for the men's tennis program.

She spent the 2020-21 season at Mississippi State University where she was the primary contact for the Women’s Soccer and Track & Field programs. She also assisted with the 2020 Olympics coverage of the Bulldogs’ six track & field participants and served as a media liaison for MSU’s hosting of a baseball Regional and Super Regional in route to State’s first team National Championship.
 
She earned her Master’s in Sports Management from the University of Southern Mississippi in May of 2020. While working toward her degree, she was a Graduate Assistant for the Southern Miss Athletics Communications Department, serving the Women’s Basketball, Cross Country and Track & Field teams as their primary contact. Allen also assisted with football, assisting with credentials and running the Twitter account on home game days. 
 
Allen, a Fort Worth, Texas, native, graduated from TCU in May of 2018 with her bachelor’s in Strategic Communication, studying both Advertising and Public Relations. She served as an intern in the Horned Frogs’ Athletics Communications Department for three years, being the primary contact for the Women’s Equestrian program and performing various duties throughout the department, primarily with baseball, men’s and women’s basketball and football.
