Arkansas Ends Baylor's Season

DURHAM, N.C. - Lonniya Bragg had 16 points and 14 rebounds as Arkansas overcame a poor shooting first half to beat Baylor 68-59 in a West regional Saturday.

Arkansas (20-12), which is in tournament for first time since 1998, made just 10 of 35 shots in the first half. The Lady Razorbacks rallied with a 15-4 run midway through the second, capped by Amy Wright's three-point play with 8:26 that put them up 58-47.

Baylor (21-9) led 33-28 at halftime in its first tournament appearance despite 10 turnovers and 2-for-10 shooting in the final 10 minutes.

Arkansas was 1-for-15 in the final nine minutes of the first half, including 10 straight misses before the break.

Danielle Crockrom led Baylor with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Sheila Lambert had 16 points, but was 4-for-17 from the field.

Baylor made just 10 of 36 shots in the second half and was 3-for-16 from 3-point range overall.

Wright had 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
