• Baylor heads to Provo for its only regular-season meeting with BYU on Tuesday night in an 8 p.m. CT Tip against the Cougars on ESPN2

• In that last meeting, BYU beat the Bears 78-71in Provo, evening the all-time series at 6-6.

• In that meeting, the Bears were beat on the offensive boards 16-7 and outscored 20-4 in second-chance points, snapping BU's streak of 92-straight wins when shooting a higher percentage than its opponent 

• Last time out Baylor swept the season series from Utah with a 76-61 win in Salt Lake City, improving to 12-0 on the season when holding its opponent under 70 points

• Norchad Omier pulled down 12 rebounds to go along with his game-high 22 points, his 77th career double-double, which ranks 14th in NCAA History

• With his next double-double, Omier will move into a tie for 11th in NCAA history with three players including UCLA's Lew Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar)

• VJ Edgecombe notched his sixth 15+ point performance in Big 12 Play, and now ranks in the top-5 in the Big 12 in points per game in conference play (17.4) 

• Across his last five games, Edgecombe is averaging 19.6 points per game, shooting 45% from the field and from three-point range 

• For his efforts, Edgecombe was named the Big 12 co-Newcomer of the week, BU's second weekly-award winner after Norchad Omier was the Big 12 Player of the Week in November

• Baylor is 32-16 in Big 12 Road games since 2019-20, the best mark in the league in that span 

• BU is 168-101 in Big 12 play in 15 seasons since 2010 after going 59-149 in the league's first 13 seasons
