QUOTING WOODSON
"This was important for number of reasons. It's the first Big 12 match, we want to get off on the right foot. We have a very sour taste in our mouths from five days ago. It was one of the longest matches that I've ever been a part of. We had lot of opportunities and we had lots of fight but we dug ourselves too big of a hole the last time we played. This whole week the guys have really been on edge – we want to take this opportunity and make a statement. Coming in, it is different, different conditions, different situation. It's more important because it's the Big 12, and different lineups. We had a bunch of different matchups out there and you never know how the guys are going to handle that. They probably felt like they should win but I was really impressed. We did a great job throughout the match."
