PREP/JUNIORS: Joins the squad in the fall with a universal tennis rating of 13.44, an ATP singles ranking of 835 and doubles ranking of 862 ... He has tallied four points to his name in ITF play ... His first and most recent tournament title comes from the 2021 Gurugram 15k, where he defeated three-time All-Big 10 honoree Dusty Boyer from Nebraska, 6-3, 6-2, in the final round ... In doubles play, Velcz took the title at the Bratislava ITF 15k in August of 2021 with partner Mate Valkusz ... In 2018, Velcz won the U16 Hungarian Outdoor National Championship with an impressive 6-0, 6-1 performance in the finals over Ivan Noel Hornung. Earlier in the season, he also won the indoor Hungarian championship in both singles and doubles.
