Blayne Pomfret joined the Baylor Equestrian staff in August of 2020 as director of operations.

Pomfret was a four-year letterwinner at Delaware State where she competed in Horsemanship. She was a two-time all-conference selection during her time as a Hornet.

Pomfret’s main duties include handling a portion of the program’s business responsibilities, planning team travel and recruiting visits, and managing apparel and equipment. She also coordinates communication with parents and boosters, as well as assisting the Baylor staff with scheduling coaching clinics throughout the year.

Originally from Shelton, Wash., Pomfret graduated with honors from Delaware State with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. She is currently working on a master’s of public administration from her alma mater.
