Baylor Baseball Concludes Fall Drills With Fall Championship Series

Waco - The Baylor baseball team will conclude fall drills with a best-of-nine Fall Championship Series beginning Tuesday, October 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Baylor Ballpark.
Tuesday's game will feature sophomore lefty Derek Brehm versus junior right hander Kyle Edens. Game two will take place Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., and pitchers will be senior left hander Josh Scott and junior righty Justin Taylor.
The series continues with game three Thursday at 3:30 p.m., game four Sunday at 6 p.m. and game five Oct. 30 at 3:30 p.m. If necessary, game six will be Nov. 1 at 3:30 p.m, game seven Nov. 2 at 6:30 p.m., game eight Nov. 3 at 3:30 p.m., and game nine Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.
The Bears are divided into two teams, with the losing team serving the winning team dinner. The series will continue through November 5.
Baylor, the 2000 Big 12 Champions, begins the season February 2, 2001 at the Enron Field Classic in Houston, Texas.
