NORMAN, Okla. - The Baylor soccer team fought through double overtime against Oklahoma but came away with only a scoreless tie to show for its efforts.
The tie was the second of the season for Baylor (5-5-2, 2-2-1), as Oklahoma (7-5-1, 2-2-1) recorded its second straight shut-out.
The Sooners controlled the ball on offense most of the night, outshooting the Bears 20-16. Baylor managed only three shots on goal all night. The loss means the Bears remain winless on Fridays, with a 0-4-2 record. Baylor is 5-1-0 on Sundays.
The Bears stay in Oklahoma until Sunday, when they face Oklahoma State in Stillwater at 1 p.m.
