Men's Golfers To Host Henry Griffitts Baylor Invitational

WACO, Texas - Baylor University will host the third annual Henry Griffitts Baylor Invitational men's collegiate golf tournament at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco, Texas, Monday and Tuesday.
The tournament boasts 90 players in a competitive 17-team field that includes Arkansas-Little Rock, Baylor, Iowa State, Lamar, Louisiana-Lafayette, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Texas, Sam Houston State, Southeastern Louisiana, Southwest Texas State, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Toledo, Wichita State.
The format of the Classic consists of 54 holes beginning with a practice round on Sunday, two rounds of 18 holes Monday beginning at 8 a.m., and a final round Tuesday beginning at 8 a.m.
Ridgewood is a 6,419-yard, par 70 course situated near Lake Waco. The course recently hosted the Big 12 Women's Golf Fall Preview.
Last year's Greg May Honda Baylor Invitational was won by host Baylor (850) by 12 strokes over second-place Arkansas-Little Rock and North Texas. North Texas' Neal Collins (203) won individual medallist honors over Baylor's Troy Caesar.
