Bubela Named Big 12 Player of the Week

WACO, Texas - Baylor junior outfielder Jaime Bubela has been named the Phillips 66/Big 12 Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Bubela, a native of Houston, batted .522 (12-for-23) in five contests, had a stolen base, and made 18 putouts in the field without an error as the sixth-ranked Bears closed the week with a 3-2 record and a pair of road wins against Mississippi.
The Bears travel to UT-San Antonio Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game at Wolff Stadium.
