Men's Tennis Recruits Ranked No. 4

WACO, Texas - Baylor's seventh-ranked men's tennis team received another accolade Wednesday when its 2000 early-signing class was named fourth-best in the nation by Daily Tennis.
The Bears' fall recruiting class included Chip Webb, Jeroen Masson, Cory Ross and Zolton Popp.
"This is another positive step for our program," said head coach Matt Knoll.? "Signing quality student-athletes gives us an opportunity to build on the success we've had recently.
"We could not be more excited about the caliber of these four guys both as people and as players."
Baylor opens the spring season Jan. 3-8 at the Milwaukee Classic.? The Bears face a challenging spring schedule, as 16 of their 20 scheduled matches are against ranked teams, including road matches at No. 4 Duke and No. 6 Ole Miss.
