WACO, Texas - Women's Tennis defeated the University of Houston, 6-0, at the Streich Tennis Center, today.
The No. 18-ranked Baylor team swept the Houston cougars, 6-0, in singles play. Doubles did not play due to a Houston injury.
On court one, No. 22-ranked Jahnavi Parekh defeated Galina Seliounia, 6-3, 6-1. On court two, No. 75-ranked Katja Kovac defeated Mette Sigmundstad, 6-4, 7-5. Vida Mulec Defeated Joanna Cunliffe, 6-3, 6-1, on court three. Karin Andersson defeated Anne Marie Rapp, 6-1, 6-1. On court five, Frida Borjesson defeated Karine Urbin, 6-3, 6-3, and Caludia Aguilar defeated Kailey Meisinger, 6-3, 6-0.
The Bear's next home match will be against Oregon on Saturday, April 8th, at 9 a.m..
