With a pair of shortened and spirited workouts, the Baylor football team conducted its last day of two-a-day practices.
"We've got a little walk-through Saturday morning and a scrimmage that night, but, other than that, our 2000 two-a-day drills are in the can," said Baylor head coach Kevin Steele.
"I am most pleased with the fact that we experienced a lot of highs in recent practices," said Steele. "We had great tempo and effort, and we improved on our mistakes. There was not a lot of repetitiveness and we never had two poor practices in a row."
The Bears will scrimmage Saturday at 6 p.m. at Floyd Casey Stadium. Baylor opens the season August 31 at North Texas.
