With less than a week to go before the season opener with North Texas, the Baylor football team conducted a "spirited and crisp" 90-minute workout Friday afternoon.
"The good thing about today is that it was all about North Texas," said Baylor head coach Kevin Steele. "We had a very spirited and crisp practice and I saw lots of good things out there."
"It was a good teaching day," said Steele. "After watching some tapes of practice, they were on top of the game and that's what we were looking for. I do think that these guys are ready to play a game. They've been practicing a long time."
Baylor opens the season with a 7 p.m. game at North Texas on August 31.
