Following an excellent practice on Saturday, Baylor head football coach Kevin Steele was not pleased with the tempo of Sunday's 90-minute afternoon workout.
"We got the work done that we needed to get done, but we had to press them too much for my liking," said Baylor head coach Kevin Steele. "I was not pleased with the tempo today."
"Some coaches would say that is a result of practicing on a weekend, not during two-a-days, but we can't afford to waste a minute," said Steele. "We don't need to put ourselves in that situation."
Baylor opens the season with a 7 p.m. game at North Texas on August 31.
