Nebraska Beats Baylor, 7-3

LINCOLN, Neb. - After shutting out the Bears 8-0 on Saturday, the Huskers completed their sweep of Baylor on Sunday with a 7-3 win in Lincoln.
Sarah Caudle (6-8) took the loss for Baylor as Nebraska jumped on her for six runs in four innings. Baylor drops to 21-24, 1-6 in Big 12 play. Nebraska remains undefeated in conference at 6-0 and has a 29-16 overall record.
The Huskers scored early, posting a three spot in the bottom of the first inning. Baylor cut the lead to two in the top of the fourth when Kristen Lancaster doubled in Caudle, but Nebraska scored three more times in the fourth inning to up its lead to 6-1.
The Bears again responded, scoring two runs in the top of the fifth on Ryan Stukel's fourth home run of the year. That would be all the scoring for Baylor.
The Bears host Texas A&M for a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 12. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
