TUCSON, Ariz. - Baylor won its fifth straight match with a 4-1 decision over Arizona in Tucson Friday.
The No. 14-ranked Bears (6-1) scored three first-half goals, the first coming just seven minutes into the game as sophomore forward Alyson Miles found the net.
Julie Goin made it 2-0 when she scored at the 20:09 mark off Rachel Kacsmaryk's assist. Then, just two minutes later, Courtney Saunders netted the first of her two goals off Gina Castellano's assist.
Saunders iced the game away with another goal in the second half. The Wildcats got on the board late as Tiffany Sabado scored at the 82:24 mark.
Baylor hosts Loyola Marymount Sunday in Waco at 1 p.m.
