WACO - Amidst lower temperatures and increased humidity, the Baylor football team conducted a productive two-hour practice session Wednesday afternoon.
"The biggest thing I noticed today was that we've had a change in the temperature," head coach Kevin Steele said. "Even though we aren't practicing in 110 degree heat, the humidity is about 86 percent that we used that as a conditioning factor."
Despite the dramatic change in the weather, Steele was pleased with the team's effort.
"Today's practice was very spirited, productive and focused," he said. "We've still got a few things to work on before we play Minnesota."
Baylor (1-0) will host Minnesota (1-1) in an 11:30 a.m. game on Saturday.
