Men's Golfers Travel To Inaugural Inverness Intercollegiate

Baylor's men's golf team will participate in the inaugural Inverness Intercollegiate Invitational Monday and Tuesday in Toledo, Ohio.
The Inverness Intercollegiate Invitational, hosted by the University of Toledo, is held at The Inverness Club. Inverness is a 7,250-yard, 71-par course in Toledo, Ohio.
Competition will start Monday with 36 holes, followed by 18 on Tuesday. The 13-team field includes: Baylor, Colorado, Fresno State, Kansas, Kent State, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, TCU, Toledo, UAB and UCLA.
The Bears traveling squad includes seniors Brandon Sanders, Jimmy Walker and Worth Williams, sophomore Trevar Matheson, and freshman Adam Meyer.
Baylor, unranked in the preseason edition of the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings, opened the fall season last weekend with a seventh place finish at the Kiawah Island Invitational in Charleston, S.C.
