WACO, Texas - Now two weeks into their fall practices, the Baylor baseball team will play its annual Green and Gold Game Saturday at 7 p.m. at Baylor Ballpark, after Baylor football hosts Nebraska earlier in the day.
The Green and Gold Game precedes the Fall Championship Series and pits the newcomers (Green) against the Veterans (Gold). Every player on the roster will play, and every pitcher will toss at least one inning. Freshman lefty Trey Taylor will start for the Green team, with junior lefty Jared Theodorakos on the mound for the Gold team.
The game is open to the public, and admission is free.
