Baseball to Begin Season at Astros College Classic

HOUSTON - Baylor and five other members of the old Southwest Conference travel to Houston, Texas for the Astros College Classic at Enron Field.

Baylor and Rice will play the first college game ever at Enron Field when they face off Thursday night at 6 p.m. The Bears play Houston Friday at 3 p.m. and TCU Saturday at 11 a.m.

Last season against Rice, the Bears defeated the Owls 5-2 in their only meeting. Houston won both games against Baylor in 200, 4-3 and 13-2. Baylor and TCU met three times last season, with the Bears sweeping the season, 8-3, 4-3 and 11-2.
