White Named Phillips 66/Big 12 Pitcher of the Week

WACO, Texas - Baylor right-handed pitcher Steven White has been named the Phillips 66/Big 12 Pitcher of the Week for his performance against Cal State Fullerton this past weekend.
White, a sophomore from League City, Texas, scattered just two hits over seven innings while walking four batters and striking out five. He retired 21 of the 23 batters he faced and held Cal State Fullerton to a .087 batting average in Baylor's 5-0 win.
Baylor (4-3) returns to action Wednesday night against Southwest Texas State. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Baylor Ballpark.
