Baseball's Williams Named Co-Big 12 Player of the Week

WACO, Texas - Baylor baseball player Matt Williams has been named the Big 12 Co-Player of the Week for his performances last week against Rice and Kansas.
A third baseman from Long Beach, Calif., Williams hit .556 on the week. The senior smacked four doubles, belted three home runs and had 11 RBIs. He did not commit an error in the field and led the team with 10 hits.
Baylor returns to action Tuesday with a non-conference game against Southwest Missouri State. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Baylor Ballpark.
