Softball loses to Texas Tech

Oklahoma City - Texas Tech pitcher Amanda Renfro pitched a five-inning one-hitter as the third-seeded Red Raiders run-ruled sixth seed Baylor in second-day action of the Big 12 Tournament.
Renfro struck out six and walked one to raise her record to 30-16 on the season. Ryan Stukel recorded Baylor's only hit of the game when she beat out a bunt in the fourth inning.
Baylor's Sarah Caudle took the loss after giving up three runs in 2.1 innings. Jill Smith relieved Caudle and surrendered five runs on seven hits in 2.1 innings. Caudle fell to 8-5 on the eyar.
Baylor is now 38-21 on the season and will play Kansas at 4 p.m. today.
