Cross Country's Rice Invitational Canceled

HOUSTON, Texas - In light of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon Tuesday, Rice University has canceled the it's cross country meet, the Rice Invitational, announced Rice University President Dr. Malcolm Gills and athletics director Bobby May Wednesday afternoon.
The meet scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 15 will not be rescheduled. Baylor cross country will return to action Saturday, Sept. 22 when it hosts the Baylor Invitational.
