Charlie Bradshaw Would Enjoy Hearing from Friends

Baylor football letterman Charlie Bradshaw, who has been ill for some time in a Plano hospital, has been released and would like to hear from his former teammates.

Bradshaw, a native of Center, played tackle for the Baylor Bear team that defeated Tennessee in the 1957 Sugar Bowl. After leaving Baylor he had a successful National Football League career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and later entered the practice of law.

He currently is being cared for by his daughter, Beverly White, who says her dad usually feels well enough to take phone calls, but in case there is no answer she encourages callers to leave recorded voice messages.

She added that the cards and letters he received from "B" Association members during his hospital stay helped him immensely. And he would enjoy more.
