Softball to Hold Meet-the-Players Scrimmage

WACO, Texas - Baylor's softball team will hold a fall Meet-the-Players scrimmage Saturday at Getterman Stadium from 10 a.m. to noon. The public is invited to attend.

Following the game, a lunch will be served. Tickets for the meal are $7 per plate and can be purchased by contacting Baylor assistant coach Mark Lumley at 710-3075. Fans will also have a chance to tour the new locker rooms and other new softball facilities.

Baylor posted one of its best seasons in school history last spring. The Bears were 38-20 overall and were ranked in the NFCA Top 25 more much of the season. Baylor is in its second year under the direction of head coach Glenn Moore.
