Women's Doubles Team Falls In Second Round

LOS ANGELES - Baylor's Izabella Mijic/Daria Potapova fell to the pre-qualifying third seed Granson/Smith from Duke 9-7. In the second round of pre-qualifying doubles Sunday at UCLA.
The doubles match was the only action that the Lady Bears were involved in for the day, but on Tuesday, Oct. 8,Vida Mulec will begin play in the qualifying singles, and the team of Mulec/Balzert will begin action in the qualifying doubles. All qualifying rounds and main draw rounds will be played at the Riviera Tennis Center in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
