WACO, Texas - Baylor's Vida Mulec fell to No. 7 seeded Lindsay Dawaf of Florida in straight sets 6-2, 6-0 in the first round of qualifying singles Thursday at the Omni Hotels National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships at the Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas.

Mulec will now move into the first round of consolation play that begins on Friday. With today's loss Mulec now moves to 8-4 in her fall season.
