Men's Golf Announces Early Signees

WACO, Texas - Baylor men's golf announced the addition of three high school signees to the Baylor Men's Golf program Monday.
Jeremy Frye will join the team from Palestine, Texas where he won the A.J.G.A. Abeline Reporter News tournament earlier this year. Fry is ranked among the top 30 in the junior golf rankings. He holds the all-time A.J.G.A. three-round record (66-64-66=196).
Jeremy Alcorn comes from Brownwood, Texas. Alcorn is also on the Golfweek.com top-100 junior players list. He has finished in the top five in multiple A.J.G.A. events.
Wesley Williams is a high school senior from Franklin, Tenn. Williams is also currently ranked in the Golfweek.com top-100 junior players.
The 24th-ranked Bears are coming off a second place finish at the Baylor Invitational that concluded the team's fall season. It marked the Bears 15th straight regular season tournament with a top five finish.
Baylor will begin the spring season on Feb. 12 in Waikohoha, Hawaii. The Bears will compete at the Big Island Classic hosted by the University of Hawaii-Hilo.
