Softball vs. UTA Postponed

WACO, Texas - Baylor's Feb. 6 softball game against Texas-Arlington at Getterman Stadium has been postponed due to heavy rains in the Waco area. The game has been rescheduled for March 13 at 6 p.m.

The Lady Bears, 6-0 on the young season, return to action this weekend at the UTA College Classic, held at Mike Lewis Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. Baylor faces Louisiana-Monroe at 1 p.m. Friday, followed by a 4 p.m. contest with Oklahoma State. Pool play continues Saturday as the Lady Bears take on Texas-San Antonio at 9 a.m. and Utah at 1 p.m. Tournament play begins that afternoon at 4.

Baylor has tied the school record for the best six-game start in school history, the 1997 Lady Bears opened 7-0.
