HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - Second day competition at the Birkdale Collegiate Classic was cut short on Sunday due to poor weather. Wake Forest led the 18-team field after two rounds of play to capture the tournament title. Baylor finished in fifth place, just five strokes back.
Sophomore Will Doughtie (74-68=142) finished tied for tenth individually it is the third time this spring that he has finished a tournament in the top-10.
The team's fifth place finish is the seventh straight tournament in which they have finished in the top five.
The Bears will next be in action on March 25 and 26 when they travel to Little Rock, Ark. for the UALR Classic.
