Service Held for Ronald Woodard

WACO, Texas - A memorial service for former Baylor University football player Ronald Woodard, 55, was conducted in San Antonio following his death on March 10, 2002.
Woodard, a defensive lineman, lettered for the Bears in 1967 and 1968.
Preceded in death by his father, Warren, Ronald Woodard is survived by his wife of 31 years, Angella, a son, Byron, daughters, Rachel and Leah,
his mother, Bobbie Oglesby, and a brother, Robert.
Woodard was very involved in aquatic sports, taking great pride and interest in his family's involvement with the San Antonio Wave and the Churchill swimming teams.
The memorial service was conducted at the Castle Hills Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the San Antonio Wave-Ron Woodard Scholarship Fund.
