WACO, Texas - The 19th-ranked Baylor women's tennis team won its eighth match of the season when they defeated the University of Hawaii-Hilo on the courts of BYU-Hawaii in Laie, Hawaii.

The Bears took the doubles point with victories by Whitney Morton and Barbora Blahutiakova and Daria Potapova and Alison Bradley.

Baylor won five of six singles matches, four of which were decided in two sets. At No. 1 singles freshman Patricia Graf posted a 7-5, 2-6, 6-2 victory over Nathalia Jung. Daria Potapova, Barbora Blahutiakova, Whitney Morton and Alison Bradley each posted two set victories. The Bears' lone singles loser was senior Frida Borjesson who dropped a three set match to Michika Tanaka.

In their next action, the Bears will move across the island of Oahu to Honolulu where they will take on the University of Hawaii on Thurs., March 7.
