Injury Report...
Junior Vida Mulec is playing with a broken left wrist. She suffered a fall in practice (3/21) and x-rays the next day showed the wrist was broken. Despite the injury, the two-fisted backhander, posted a victory over Texas' Joanne Masongsong (6-1, 3-6, 7-5) on Saturday. After further evaluation, it was determined that the wrist needed surgery. Mulec will be sidelined for the rest of the season.
