Softball Goes 3-2 at Spring-Klein

Baylor's softball team posted a 3-2 mark last weekend at the Spring-Klein Tournament in Houston. The Lady Bears posted wins over Southern Mississippi, Sam Houston State and San Jacinto College. This was Baylor's second tournament of the fall developmental season.
"We need to put in a lot of work between now and the start of the season, but the potential is there," head coach Glenn Moore said. "There were positives to the weekend, but we can do much better."
Baylor's results from last weekend's tournament are as follows:
SaturdayBaylor 1, San Jacinto College 0Nicholls State 3, Baylor 1Baylor 6, Sam Houston State 1Kelly Osburn, who led the Lady Bears with nine home runs last spring, had two homers on the weekend. Stephanie Pomes and Tessa Lynam also had home runs.
