WACO, Texas - Two Baylor freshmen dominated the Big Green Invite hosted by Dartmouth University, in Hanover, New Hampshire over the weekend. Carolin Walter and Klara Zrustova cruised through their first four matches undefeated and faced each other in the finals on Monday with Walter emerging as the victor. In addition, the tandem played in the doubles finals against Dartmouth's Lindsay Winningham and Ann Scott and beat the Dartmouth pair, 8-5 to claim the doubles crown.

In the three-day tournament, in which players from 13 teams participated, Walter (Bingen, Germany), participating in her first collegiate tournament, defeated teammate Zrustova in the finals, 6-3, 6-1. Zrustova, who hails from Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic was participating in just her second tournament for the Bears.
