Men's Golfers Head To San Antonio

WACO, Texas - Baylor's men's golf team will continue its spring season by playing at the Roadrunner Invitational, hosted by Texas-San Antonio on Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 24-25, at the Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio.

The tournament boasts a strong 15-team field that includes Baylor, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Wichita State, Arkansas, Illinois State, Stephen F. Austin, Kansas State, Rice, Iowa State, Arkansas-Little Rock, Louisiana-Lafayette, Northern Iowa, North Texas, the German national team and host Texas-San Antonio.

Baylor, Texas Tech and Arkansas are each ranked in the top 50, according to Golfstat.com.

The format of the Invitational consists of 54 holes beginning with two rounds on Monday starting at 8:00 a.m. The final round will be played Tuesday morning, beginning at 8:00 a.m.

The Oak Hills Country Club is a 6,691-yard, par 72 course.

The Bears are currently ranked 45th by golfstat.com.

In Baylor's last outing, the Bears finished 18th of 26 teams at the Waikoloa Intercollegiate in Hawaii.
